Submitted on has written, posted and submitted an online petition to President Obama and the U.S. Congress, advocating a comprehensive and cohesive manufacturing policy to restore vitality to U.S. manufacturing, encourage innovation, ensure realistic global competition and create meaningful jobs.

You can read and sign the petition here.

The petition calls out 5 areas for reform that are critical to the near-term health of manufacturing and the economy in the U.S.: Corporate Tax Policy; Trade Policy; Regulatory Policy; Immigration Policy; and Patent & Trademark Policy.

From the petition:

We propose that such a comprehensive overall policy will reestablish and sustain the United States as the de facto leader of manufacturing in the world, fuel rapid economic recovery, minimize the effects of future economic downturns and create and sustain high-paying jobs critical to her citizenry and long-term security.

Please take a moment to read and sign the petition. As a matter of fact, we encourage concerned parties to create and submit their own petitions, as well.
